Vision and Mission

We are committed to social justice, sustainable development and human rights. The right to communicate freely is a basic human right and a necessity for sustainable development. Access to information is essential to informed decision-making at all levels.
We are committed to the dissemination of information and promotion of sustainable development initiatives, in response to the needs of under represented and marginalized sectors of society.
For bridging the data gap and improving information availability we are committed to develop and establish an ideal medium for the Participation and exchange of a trusted and accurate source of quality information.

It is a grassroots level organisation working on several project mainly focusing on service delivery to the rural poor, skill training and community organisation.

Shanti Devi Siksha Samiti  is an indigenous and unconventional NGO with a mission to empower the poor by working on issues of development, both in rural and urban areas. The major thrust is on vulnerable and disadvantaged women and children. For reading its goal programmes undertaken are all community based with focus on preventive and rehabilitative aspects.

Welcome to Shanti Devi Shiksha Samiti (SDSS), an NGO Country’s leading educational, cultural & welfare foundation. It was established under
R.S. (XXI of 1860) Act of Govt. of NCT of Delhi. The registered office situated at 2/12-13, K.Pur, Mayur Vihar Ph-II, Delhi-110091 bearing the
Registration No. S/47035. It is running since 1995 & registered under
R.S. (XXI of 1860) Act. of Govt. of NCT of Delhi in 2003. The society got 
80G for 2009 to 2010.  The primary objective of SDSS is to impart knowledge to weaker section of society and thus alienate illiteracy.
