It is a grassroots level organisation working on several project mainly focusing on service delivery to the rural poor, skill training and community organisation.
Shanti Devi Siksha Samiti is an indigenous and unconventional NGO with a mission to empower the poor by working on issues of development, both in rural and urban areas. The major thrust is on vulnerable and disadvantaged women and children. For reading its goal programmes undertaken are all community based with focus on preventive and rehabilitative aspects.
